BLOOD DRIVE HELD AT CITY HALL
The American Red Cross held a blood drive at Festus City Hall on August 28. Councilman Earl Cook planned the event in cooperation from the Red Cross. Thirty people donated blood during the four hour blood drive. Each person who donated blood received a St. Louis Cardinal/American Red Cross T-shirt.
First time donor, Michelle Guidicy, who works in City Hall, is shown in the center of this photo. Councilman George Vogt, third from left, is patiently waiting to donate. Citizens from around the Festus area took their time to donate.
Councilman Cook said, "The Red Cross really needs blood this time of year. I want to thank all the people who took time to donate."
